We are inspiring and empowering Black, Latinx, Native American and Pacific Islander for-profit developers, emerging developers, Architects, Engineers, and other professionals, within the housing ecosystem, to follow equitable real estate development and inclusive community practices. Ultimately, we'll create more community-led development, spur the building of more affordable housing, and create interactive networks of impact-driven real estate professionals of color, who are positively impacting communities they come from or are passionate about.
The roundtable meets virtually, on the 2nd Friday of each month, from June 9, 2023- February 9, 2024. We will also have opportunities for in person site visits/outings, across Tennessee, on occasion. The monthly roundtables are required but the site visits/outings are optional.
The ultimate goal, for the members of the roundtable, is to form partnerships, share knowledge, and perhaps work together on public-private partnerships. Ultimately, we want to set the standard for building affordable/attainable/workforce housing and creating inclusive community engagement.
The cost to join the Equitable Developers Roundtable is $1,750. The fee includes monthly virtual meetings, lunch or breakfast during outings/site visits, resource materials and updates, roundtable members' Slack channel, and a certificate. The deadline to register is May 19, 2023.
