Thank you so much for deciding to become a dot-art Schools Champion!
• There has been a 47% decline in arts GCSE entries since 2010.
• Arts A level entries are the lowest they have ever been.
• Primary school children often get no art teaching from one term to the next.
AND YET:
• Students from low-income families who take part in arts activities at school are 3 times more likely to get a degree.
• Creativity will be a vital skill for ALL jobs of the future, as it cannot be replaced by AI or robotics.
• In 2017, 98% of teachers and school leaders came into contact with pupils they believed were experiencing mental health problems; arts subjects provide young people with a crucial way of processing and articulating difficult emotions.
We believe that the arts can change children’s lives and that all young people should be given the opportunity to explore their own creativity and develop their unique talents.
For the past 11 years, our dot-art Schools programme has been trying to address these issues, by working directly with schools across the Liverpool City Region. We have so far engaged over 11,500 children but aim to reach far more. We know that many more schools would like to work with us but either do not have the resources or are not aware of the programme. This is why we need YOUR help.
For a donation of just £295+VAT you or your business can Champion an individual school to take part in dot-art Schools and make a HUGE difference. You can either pick a school close to your heart or we can assign you one in need of help.
Please complete this form fully to get everything set up.
If you would prefer to be invoiced or want to Champion a large number of schools, please contact us on schools@dot-art.com.
