PLEASE READ EACH AREA LISTED BELOW WHILE BEING A PASSENGER
- Passengers are only permitted to go into cars with the appropriate safety gear and structural requirements (including but not limited to a full weld in roll cage, bucket seats, harnesses and basic PPE including fire retardant race suit, gloves, boots and neck restraint)
- Keep your wristband on at all times - there will be another passenger band charge for a new one. You will have to bring ID to confirm your identity against our waiver.
- Keep your arms and hands inside the car at all times and do not hold onto the rollcage/roof of the vehicle to avoid crushing in the event of an impact or roll.
- In the event of a fire or accident, promptly remove yourself from the vehicle and move yourself to safety. Be wary of any other vehicles on the circuit to avoid getting hit.
- If you are unsure on how to remove yourself from the car, ask the driver how to unclip your harness and exit the vehicle, checking the interior door handle works correctly to get out.
- When being released onto the track please lift up your wrist to show pit exit you have signed in to avoid delays
WAIVER
"Venue" is HAMPTON DOWNS Motorsport Park (HD)
"Organiser" is Drift Matsuri, under provision of ZEROCLASS Limited
I understand that Motorsport is and can be dangerous, and the participant (you) acknowledge that in consideration of being granted access to the event, tracks and operational areas of the motorsport park for driving and/or for any other reasons:
1. I warrant that I am over eighteen years of age (or otherwise signed by an authorised parental guardian)
2. I will comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations provided to me by DRIFT MATSURI, HD or its employees and agents at all times, including the wearing of full safety clothing and gear at all times whilst required.
3. I will at all times comply with the instructions of DRIFT MATSURI and/or HD and their associated employees and agents.
4. I will not allow any person other than the person named on this form to be a passenger.
5. I will not enter the HD Circuit without first obtaining permission from DRIFT MATSURI and/or HD
6. I will exercise all due care and will at all times comply with the Safety Regulations of the HAMPTON DOWNS Motorsport Park.
7. I understand that DRIFT MATSURI officials, alongside the HD Circuit Manager or any of other HD employees or agents may terminate and prohibit my access to the facility if I breach any of the terms in this indemnity form.
8. I will be responsible for and will pay to make good any damage I may cause, whether deliberately or otherwise, to any property of Hampton Downs.
9. I will not hold any of the Released Parties responsible for any damage, injury or death
10. I understand that in consideration of me being granted permission to use the HD Circuit and/or venue I warrant all of the above and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to indemnify each of the Released Parties from and against all actions, claims, liabilities, costs, expenses and demands in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to person or property however caused, arising out of or in connection with my use of a vehicle and the HD Circuit, including claims by third parties, notwithstanding that such claims may have been contributed to by the fault or negligence of any of the Released Parties. I further agree that this indemnity form shall bind each of the Releasing Parties. The above provisions confer a benefit on, and are intended to be enforceable by, each of the Released Parties (in accordance with the Contracts (Privity) Act 1982.
