Thank you in advance for volunteering for the Step Up for Down Syndrome Awareness Walk presented by the Down Syndrome Parents Group of WNY. Our event will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 11AM-2PM at Canalside, Buffalo, NY. This is a rain or shine event. Please come dressed appropriately for the weather. On the day of the event please report to the volunteer check in table in the grassy area at Canalside to receive your assignment.

Some of the volunteer assignments include set-up/clean-up, activities/games, and facilitating the walk. Please make us aware if there are any restrictions on what you are able to volunteer for. Volunteers should report to the Volunteer Check-in. It is important that you arrive 15 minutes in advance of your selected shift in order to check-in, receive your assignment and volunteer shirt.
