AUSPICIOUS GOLDEN PENDANT STUPA WITH BLESSED SACRED OBJECTS
A stupa, representing Buddha’s mind, is one of the three required objects on a Buddhist altar. A stupa is a monument to the state of perfect enlightenment and represents the fully enlightened mind.
This golden pendant stupa is personally consecrated by Venerable Dorzin Dhondrup Rinpoche with the following sacred objects:
• Sacred fabric with great blessings which is used to dress up the famous holy Gyanagma prayer wheel at Upper Gar Monastery, brought to Tibet in the dowry of Princess Wencheng. This prayer wheel is widely renowned in Tibet and beyond for possessing and bestowing great blessings. It is a sacred relic that has not stopped spinning for many decades. Princess Wencheng was a member of a minor branch of the royal clan of the Tang Dynasty who married King Songtsen Gampo of the Tibetan Empire in 641. (see Wiki for details). Princess Wencheng’s prayer wheel was hidden for many years and was returned to Gar Monastery in the early 1980.
• Mani blessing pills from Gargon Monastery
• The White Tara mantra
• The Amitabha Buddha mantra
• The Chenrezig Mani mantra
The Ratnkaranda Sutra says: “By remembering Chenrezig’s name, you will be born in Dewachen.” It is taught that by merely hearing the six-syllable mantra one single time, one will attain a fortunate rebirth in the higher realms. By beholding it with faith, one will attain the state of no-return and become a guide of sentient beings.
Amitabha is known as the Buddha of Infinite Light and presides over the Pure Land of Great Bliss called Dewachen. Because of Amitabha’s merit and aspirations, ordinary people can be reborn in Dewachen and achieve increasingly higher levels of realization without taking rebirth in samsara. Bring to mind again and again Buddha Amitabha to be reborn in the Pureland of Dewachen.
White Tara offers abundant qualities such as peace, happiness, wisdom, prosperity, health, longevity as well as the elimination of obstacles and dangers through her enlightened activities.
