    Please carefully read the following assurances before signing.
  • For each semester/quarter, Webster Parish shall cover the tuition fee for the student while he/she is enrolled in good standing in the program. Good standing is defined as maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or above in all coursework within the program and having no other disciplinary or financial infractions. Criteria Steps: Plan of Study from the college, university, or online university. (APEL RTL Proof applicant is officially enrolled - iTeach Proof applicant is officially accepted, enrolled, and has completed course #5000). Complete and submit the Webster Parish Title I/II local Teacher Tuition Assistance Application Form, which must be approved by the Title I/II Supervisor before the course is taken. Complete the course(s) approved by the Title I/II Director. The Teacher Tuition Assistance Application must be completed and submitted for approval EACH SEMESTER before the semester/quarter begins.  2 courses - University - 2 Phases APEL Ready to Teach - 3 classes iTeach (max per semester)Online programs will be considered ONLY if they are fully accredited and comparable in price to area colleges and universities. WPSB will pay only the tuition portion of the invoice. The student is responsible for additional fees, such as registration, books, technology fees, and lab fees, among others. iTeach - The Teacher is responsible for notifying the Title I/II supervisor when each course is complete.  WPSB will then invoice iTeach for the completed course. APEL is requested to invoice the Webster Parish Title I/II office at the end of each completed Phase. Universities are requested to invoice the Webster Parish Title I/II office at the end of the semester/quarter. The invoice will be paid when proof has been provided to the Title I/II Supervisor that the course has been passed. All information related to course completion and invoicing must be turned in by June 1 of the academic year in which the teacher requested assistance. I understand that if I drop, withdraw, or fail to successfully complete a course for which WPSB has paid tuition on my behalf, I will be responsible for fully reimbursing WPSB for all monies spent on this program. By accepting tuition reimbursement, I agree to teach ONE YEAR after becoming fully certified for every year I receive this benefit. I further agree to repay Webster Parish School Board 100% of all reimbursed expenses if I voluntarily resign within one year after completing the course.
