dykes day: Submissions & Editorial Requests
Submit work for dykes day, vol. 2 and/or request individual editing by dykes day editor Mayah.
Anthology submissions:
Due October 1, 2026. Accepted work will be workshopped individually and collectively for up to 6 months. Therefore, drafts and pitches are accepted. Accepted work must be previously unpublished. Simultaneous submissions are OK, but please let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere. Writers will be paid for their work.
Editing Requests
Please allow about 2 weeks for shorter works and up to 1 month for longer manuscripts. Editing includes meetings to talk through your work. Fees: $5/page for poetry and short-form work, or $0.02/word for longer works such as essays, manuscripts, and zines. We’re keeping these rates intentionally low/accessible. All editing fees support dykes day publishing goals for 2028.
