We are so excited for you to ride in the Parade of Heroes! You will receive an email with detailed instructions about how to participate, including arriving at 9:45 a.m.
Choose the Superhero or Community Hero that your childhood cancer fighter would like to ride with (ONLY the Cancer Kid/Survivor is allowed to ride in the vehicle. Siblings must walk with the vehicle. We want the Cancer Kid/Survivor to be recognized easily).
Be aware that the Superheroes and Community Heroes are assigned a vehicle. This is how we entice the vehicle owners to participate, we let them choose what hero rides in their vehicle. Your cancer kid will ride in the vehicle that is assigned to the Superhero they choose. If you have a vehicle that you would like to enter, the link to register your vehicle is here.
Please, feel free to invite support escorts to walk with the vehicle carrying your hero. Your childhood cancer kid's team of support escorts may carry signs and balloons to show their support for this awesome childhood cancer hero. This is a great way to raise awareness for the disease as well as generate much-deserved recognition for your cancer fighter. The parade is .5 miles long, so very short, but it has been scorching hot in the past.
Each childhood cancer kid or adult survivor coming to Superhero Fun Day will receive a Superhero Fun Day t-shirt for participating. Shirts must be picked up at the event by 3 p.m. Any shirts left after that will returned to inventory.
