This dual ability level is designed for students who have successfully completed or tested out of the Level 2 program.
"Just Swim" is a one hour practice bridge designed to build your endurance and hone your performance. This program is ideal for the experienced swimmer returning to the water after an extended break, or the newly graduated Level 2'er.
Tuition:
- Because you will practice mostly on your own, the tuition is a donation to our ATLS swim program.
Practice times: (Must have EA staff approval to enroll)
Enrollment:
- Ongoing after completing the swim assessment and online orientation
To make your experience enjoyable, please invest in the following and bring with you to every practice
- Athletic swimwear. For modesty purposes, do not wear resort/beach swimwear or street shorts.
- Well-fitted goggles. Purchase these well in advance of the class and become familiar with the fit and the fog. You may need to work with many pairs before you find the "perfect" ones. Occasionally, we have Snake and Pig Goggles for sale
- Properly fitted swim cap. A swim cap is designed to reduce drag and keep your hair out of your face. IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO KEEP YOUR HAIR DRY. Rinsing any product out of your hair before each swim and/or wearing a lycra cap under your top cap will keep the cap from sliding off. We recommend silicone caps and not latex. Occassionally, we have SoulCap and custom EA team caps for sale.
- Fins
- Kickboard
- Center-mount swim snorkel
- Towels. We have EA team towels for sale.
- Healthy hydration such as water. We do not recommend commercial sports drinks due to the high sugar and salt content.
