    • Effective September 2019: Please review the NEW USTA Progression of an Athlete Policy. This new policy prohibits an athlete from double-entering in two levels of the same discipline. You may enter a higher level in a non-competitive (rating) discipline, and that does not affect the athlete’s assigned level. The judge may or may not recommend progression based on this performance.

Based on this new policy, entries will be adjusted, and no refunds will be issued. For example, your athlete is considered Novice in solo and Beginner in 2baton. You can enter Novice Solo only and Beginner 2baton only. You may not enter Beginner and Novice in solo or 2baton. If you would like to enter said discipline more than one time, you may enter Novice, Rating, and/or one of the non-sanctioned title events.

If you are unsure of what level you should enter your athlete, review the Progression of an Athlete skills chart. You can scan the QR code below to access those charts and the policy, or sign in to your USTA portal account.
