2026 Florida Planning Conference Session Proposals Logo
  • FPC26 Call for Proposals
DEADLINE: 5 PM EST ON FEB. 13, 2026.
THERE WILL BE NO DEADLINE EXTENSION.

Be sure to have all of your information compiled before beginning as you can’t save the form and return to it at a later time. The form must be completed in one sitting. We encourage you to use our practice form (download here) to draft the submittal.

After filling the practice form and getting approval from all participants, fill out this online form to submit your panel proposal. You will see a submission complete screen, which verifies that the submittal process was successful.

You must provide a resume for EACH presenter. PDF files only.

Please carefully review the requirements for AICP Certification Maintenance credit at: CM Eligibility Criteria, The CM Provider Toolkit (downloads as a pdf), Criteria for CM Mandatory Credits.

    1. All sessions must have more than one presenter to be considered but no more than five, including moderator (Other than Spark Talks).
    2. NEW THIS YEAR: We encourage panels to include at least one first-time presenter. To recognize this effort, any panel that includes a first-time presenter will receive one (1) bonus point added to its final judging score. Please note: the maximum bonus a session can earn is 1 point.
    3. If your panel includes only presenters from the same company or organization, it may be considered a product or service pitch. To avoid this perception, we recommend assembling a diverse group of presenters from different organizations. Sessions that appear promotional or commercial in nature will not be accepted.
    4. In order to participate on a session panel, APA and APA Florida members will be required to register for at least the day of the conference on which they will be speaking. Non-members (e.g.: community members, public officials, and auxiliary professionals) are not required to register to participate on a panel. The Session Contact is required to share this information with all proposed presenters.
    5. For FPC26 we’re working to make sure everyone has a chance to share their expertise. To keep things balanced and give space for a variety of voices, we’ll be keeping an eye on how many panels each person is part of, as we rank the proposed sessions. This way, we can create a program that feels fresh and engaging for everyone.

Finally, use Chrome, Safari or Firefox to fill out this form. Microsoft Edge will not be stable enough to ensure form completion.
