Trauma and Older Adults: What FCNs Need to Know
A large percentage of older adults have experienced some type of trauma during their lifetime. Trauma can have lasting physical, emotional and spiritual effects. In this two-part webinar, FCNs will learn about 4 types of trauma, the signs and symptoms of trauma in older adults and trauma-informed care strategies FCNs and faith communities can use to help. After successfully completing both webinars, participants will receive a certificate for 2 continuing education hours that meet the requirements of the Minnesota Board of Nursing. Please check with your own licensing board if you have questions about validity in your state.
Notice: 2.0 Contact Hours are approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and purchasers should be sure to check with their own licensing board to be sure they are approved in their state. Many states have no CE requirement for RNs, but some require that professional nursing education credits are from an approved accredited provider.
