Teaching and Learning in the Age of AI: This topic invites proposals that examine how artificial intelligence is transforming instructional practice and the student learning experience. We welcome submissions that highlight innovative approaches to AI-supported course facilitation, co-creation of instructional content, AI-augmented feedback and grading workflows, assessment redesign, and practices that preserve and enhance the human presence in online learning environments. Submissions should demonstrate how AI can enrich learning while maintaining the educator’s role as mentor, guide, and learning architect.Student Success, Belonging, and Learning Analytics: This topic focuses on how AI and analytics can be used to support student persistence, well-being, and a deeper sense of belonging. Proposals may explore predictive analytics and early-alert systems, AI-assisted advising and coaching models, conversational engagement tools, or strategies designed to support nontraditional learners through personalized pathways and flexible learning structures. We especially encourage proposals that show how data-informed insights can lead to timely, empathetic, and human-centered intervention.Course and Curriculum Design: This topic highlights approaches to designing courses, programs, and learning pathways that integrate AI thoughtfully and purposefully. We welcome proposals on AI-informed instructional design workflows, co-authoring content with AI, adaptive or modular learning design, and methods for embedding AI literacy across disciplines. Submissions may also address how academic programs are preparing students to thrive in an AI-enabled workforce by developing critical thinking, digital fluency, ethical reasoning, and applied problem-solving skills.Leadership, Strategy, and Institutional Innovation: This topic is for proposals addressing the strategic and organizational dimensions of AI adoption in higher education. Topics include developing institutional AI integration roadmaps, designing faculty development and support systems, reimagining operational workflows, and creating policies or governance structures that support responsible implementation. Proposals should offer practical insights into leading organizational change and ensuring AI initiatives are aligned with mission, academic integrity, and equitable student outcomes.Ethics, Responsibility, and the Human Future of Education: This topic invites dialogue on the ethical, cultural, and human implications of AI in teaching and learning. Proposals may address ethical AI use frameworks, algorithmic bias and fairness, data transparency and privacy, or the shifting identity and role of faculty in an AI-influenced academic landscape. We particularly encourage submissions that explore how institutions can champion human-centered, compassionate, and inclusive educational practices while integrating advanced technologies.
