The Federal Way Diversity Commission and the City of Federal Way are excited to host the next iteration of community connection with the Federal Way Community Festival.
The festival is scheduled for August 8, 2026, at Town Square Park from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Federal Way will come alive with the sights and sounds of one of the most diverse populations in the region as we celebrate the cultures and communities that make the City of Federal Way a vibrant place to live, work, and play. This family-friendly, free festival will feature kids’ activities, food vendors, an entertainment stage, and exhibitors sharing information about employment opportunities, health care access, financial and educational services, and a variety of other business resources, nonprofit organizations, and area craft makers.
The goal of the Federal Way Community Festival is to celebrate and experience the cultures from all over the world who reside in our region, to bring us together, and help us learn about our neighbors and their heritage. It is our hope that festival guests will leave with a broader understanding and appreciation of the diverse resources, food, experiences, and opportunities available in our city.
We are currently seeking a variety of local vendors and nonprofit organizations who represent the cultures and services that Federal Way offers to engage and connect with festival attendees.
If you would like to apply to be a participant, please complete the attached application form. Applications are due by April 3, 2026. Space is limited and fees vary (see application) and are payable after the vendor is invited to participate by the Diversity Commission. We will contact you with more information if you are invited to participate.
