If you would like to be considered for having a food booth or truck at Federal Way Community Festival, please review all requirements carefully, complete the application, and submit it to diversity@FederalWayWA.gov. The vendor fee for participating is $250.00 ($125 vendor fee, plus a $125 refundable damage deposit and is due once the vendor has been approved by the Diversity Commission. Vendors must commit to serving food from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM on August 9th, with set-up beginning at 8:30 AM.
Application Deadlines – Friday, May 2nd
Application Approvals sent out no later than – Friday, May 16th
Payment Due – Friday, June 20th
Food Vendor Requirements Checklist
If you wish to be considered for this event, please ensure that you have copies of the following documents ready to be submitted with the application OR you are able to obtain them and submit proof no later than 30 days prior to the event:
- Federal Way Business License OR Temporary Federal Way Business License (Federal Way Business Licenses Webpage). If you do not have a Federal Way Business License, see below about obtaining a temporary license once your application to participate has been approved.
- Food Worker Card for at least one employee working event.
- Liability insurance with limits no less than $2,000,000 for each occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate (you may obtain and submit a copy once your application to participate has been approved).
