  • Pacific Northwest Artists residing in Washington State are invited to submit a design for an outdoor mural for Vendor Container Row at the new Federal Way Downtown Civic Plaza. Federal Way's Downtown Civic Plaza will serve as a community gathering space that supports community events, concerts in the park, festivals and much more! The project is managed by the Federal Way Parks Department and is set to be installed for 18-24 months.

Artists are invited to submit up to two conceptual renderings for consideration that celebrate both regional character and the rich culture and welcoming spirit of Federal Way. The Federal Way Arts Commission will evaluate and then select from the artwork submitted. Selections will be made by April 10th. If selected, artists will need to begin work on May 15, 2026 and will have three weeks to complete the work.
