ADOPTION FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- $225 for kittens under 6 months of age (includes spay and neuter when of age at approx six months) .
- $100 for adults cats and kittens 6 months and over (spayed or neutered)
- $50 for senior cats, barn cats or FIV positive cats (spayed or neutered)
$50 DEPOSIT/ADOPTION FEE MUST BE PAID PRIOR APPROVAL TO HOLD KITTENS. THIS ENSURES PEOPLE DO NOT 'BACK OUT' AND POTENTIAL HOMES MAY BE MISSED.
All cats and kittens will be adopted up to date on deworming and flea treatment, will have been combo tested and vaccinated at least once and adoption fee includes any vet care needed PRIOR to adoption. Adopters will be responsible to transport your pet to and from veterinary clinic of our choice if spay or neuter not done before adoption (at cost to Feral Felines not the new owner) and will require transport kennel. Any additional cost such as vaccinations, exams, and any future medical care is responsibility of adopter.
It is recommended to have your pet examined by a veterinarian within TWO WEEKS to ensure pet is in good health and/or to continue vaccinations if desired. Any known health issues will be disclosed to adopter prior to adoption however we cannot guarantee health / temperament of animal.
Feral Felines Rescue & Rehabilitation reserves the right to decline applications for any reason. Successful applicants will be contacted within 1-5 days for a follow up phone interview.
Please arrange to have appropriate transportation kennel for your pet upon pickup or a deposit of $25 will be required to borrow one of our kennels (refunded when kennel is returned to the shelter or to a volunteer with our organization).
Adoption fees are NON REFUNDABLE (unless special circumstances permitted).
PLEASE READ FOLLOWING ADOPTION CONDITIONS PRIOR TO COMPLETING APPLICATION. By completing application you are agreeing and accepting these terms. 1. I will keep my pet as an indoor only pet unless otherwise stated by a group representative. 2. I will spay/neuter my adopted pet at approx six months of age and cooperate with volunteer booking the appointment. 3. I will contact the group if for some reason I cannot care for my adopted animal and work with the group to find the animal a new home (or return to the groups care if needed). No animal will be rehomed without notifying group member.
