Fingal Community Response to COVID-19

Register of local community and voluntary groups responding to COVID-19
Fingal County Council in association with Fingal PPN and Fingal Volunteer Centre are reaching out to community and voluntary groups that are responding locally to COVID-19.

Since the start of the COVID -19 pandemic, Fingal County Council have been supporting local groups across Fingal who have set up Local Response Teams to assist vulnerable people in the community. These groups are providing essential services that are contributing to containing the reach of the virus. Services include delivering food and prescriptions, providing telephone support and a friendly listening ear, sign posting concerned people to local services and generally providing those in isolation with remote social contact.

Fingal County Council, Fingal PPN and Fingal Volunteer Centre wish to continue to support groups to safely deliver these services through advice on recruiting and managing volunteers, promotion of the service on a county wide online directory and through the provision of funding to assist the set up or sustaining of Local Response Teams.

Fingal Community Call project

To register your Local Response Group to be part of the Fingal Community Call Project, we require further details around Insurance and Garda Vetting. Registered groups will be contacted by Fingal County Council to assist on requests that come through the Community Call Helpline.
