The Fort Knox Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is now accepting applications for students who are planning to pursue higher education. This year, we are pleased to award five (5) scholarships to deserving applicants. Complete the application and submit it by 04/30/2026 to be considered for this opportunity to receive financial support for your educational journey. You must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher to qualify.

Williams Annual Scholarship, Amount: $1,000 - This scholarship is awarded each year to an African American female high school senior who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and active involvement in their community throughout their high school years. The recipient of this scholarship exemplifies the values of excellence, leadership, and service. In your essay, include the following: Name and discuss a woman in your life that has been instrumental in your journey toward higher education?”

The Historically Black College or University (HBCU) Scholarship, Amount: $750 each - This scholarship is awarded to two students who have shown excellence in academics and community involvement and plan to attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). The recipients of this scholarship is committed to furthering their education at an HBCU and is dedicated to making a positive impact both in their academic pursuits and their community. In your essay, answer the following: “What guided your decision to attend a Historically Black College/University?

Heart of Service Community Scholarship, Amount: $500 each - This scholarships will be awarded to two high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and significant involvement in their community throughout their high school career. These scholarships recognize students who are committed to making a positive impact both in their studies and in their communities. In your essay, answer the following: “How do you demonstrate your ‘heart of service’ in your community? Why is serving others important to you? A minimum of 15 verifiable hours is required. Submit verified community service hours documentation in the next section. Documentation must be on organizations’ letterhead.
