Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officers Association Scholarship Application 2026

The Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officers Association (FLBPOA) Scholarship Award is offered to graduating Broward County High School students interested in pursuing a college degree. The FLBPOA wants to recognize graduating students for their hard work and dedication in their educational pursuits. This one-time award of up to $1,200 dollars is for graduating Broward County High School students attending an accredited college.

Requirements:

2.5 GPA (minimum)
1 Unofficial Transcript
1 Letter of Recommendation (Also include contact information)
500 Word Essay (See Application)
A Graduating student from Broward County High School
A first-year freshman enrolled as a Full-time/Part-time college student in a degree-granting institution
