  • Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officers Association Scholarship Application 2026

     
  • The Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officers Association (FLBPOA) Scholarship Award is offered to graduating Broward County High School students interested in pursuing a college degree. The FLBPOA wants to recognize graduating students for their hard work and dedication in their educational pursuits. This one-time award of up to $1,200 dollars is for graduating Broward County High School students attending an accredited college. 
     
    Requirements:
    • 2.5 GPA (minimum)
    • 1 Unofficial Transcript
    • 1 Letter of Recommendation (Also include contact information)
    • 500 Word Essay (See Application)
    • A Graduating student from Broward County High School
    • A first-year freshman enrolled as a Full-time/Part-time college student in a degree-granting institution
    Application, Documents, and transcripts must be submitted by April 10, 2026.
