GENERAL TERMS • ICAA Workshop March 2026
Minimum enrollment requirement for all studio workshops is 8. Students will be notified if this number is not reached 45 days before the first day of class. At that time, they will be given the choice of either enrolling in another workshop (FAA), availability permitting, or having their payment refunded.
The Florence Academy of Art reserves the right to substitute instructors of any course at the last minute or during the session. The specific instructor for the course is allocated according to the session and class available once the applicant’s place has been confirmed.
Once you apply and are accepted, you will receive an acceptance email with information on housing and payment details to immediately hold your place.
Cancellation/deferral: School policy states that we are unable to issue refunds nor defer tuition to a future workshop or course once the fees have been paid. The payment is requested to hold and book your place. No refunds will be given for cancellations after February 15, 2026.
(We do understand that on occasion participants may have to change their plans. In this instance, and only for extreme exceptional or unforeseen circumstances, deferral or refund of fees paid may be considered (less an administration fee of Euro 1.000) if we are able to find a suitable replacement in time for the start of the course, and is at the discretion of the directors).
The Florence Academy of Art endeavors to provide an educational environment conducive to encouraging the artistic talents of each student. This requires that all students respect the policies of the Academy, its instructors, and the other students in the program. By enrolling in the Academy, students agree to subscribe to the Studio Policies available on this website and these terms specific to the program/workshop selected.
If you selected a workshop marked as ‘Fully Booked’ you will be placed on our waitlist. Should we have a cancellation or a place come free we will contact you.
LIST OF HOUSING AGENTS
We can provide you with a list of housing agents and hotels located within walking distance or short bus ride from the school for short periods of stay, upon acceptance of the Housing Terms.
* Students enrolled in the Certificate and Workshops are students of the Fondazione Florence Academy of Art, a private Italian foundation recognized by the Region of Tuscany, and are admitted based solely on merit and institutional criteria, without discrimination of any kind.
