    TITLE OF SHOW:  Magnum Opus

    EXHIBITION STATEMENT:

The Florida Women's Arts Association invites members to submit their greatest work for MAGNUM OPUS, a holiday season exhibition at the News-Journal Center in Daytona Beach. Magnum opus means “great work.” Whether your defining piece is bold and new or a work you have treasured for years, we want to see the art that represents your strongest creative voice.

What is the work you are most proud of?

The painting that took a risk. The sculpture that pushed your skill. The piece that made you step back when it was finished and say, “Wow. I made that.”

    This is its moment.

During the exhibition, we plan to join the Daytona Symphony for an evening that brings visual art and live music together. Concert patrons will be invited to arrive early, explore the exhibition, and meet the artists. It is a chance to share your work with an audience gathered to celebrate the arts during the festive season.
