• TWITTER RECRUITING AUDIT

  • 1. Handle Check - Question: Is your Twitter handle clean, simple, and includes your name (no numbers, underscores, or random add-ons)?Why it matters: If your handle looks messy, a coach assumes everything else is messy too.
  • 2. Profile Photo - Question: Does your photo clearly show your face — confident, athletic, professional? Why it matters: Coaches form first impressions in a split second. If they can’t see a locked-in athlete, they scroll right past.
  • 3. Banner Image - Question: Is your banner football-related and polished (no blank space, no random graphics)? Why it matters: A sharp banner shows focus. A sloppy banner makes you look casual about recruiting.
  • 4. Name Field - Question: Does your display name include your real name, position, and grad year (for example: John Smith | DL | 2027)?Why it matters: Coaches search by position and grad year. If it’s missing, you might as well be invisible.
  • 5. Bio - Question: Does your bio list your class year, position, school, location, and that you’re a football recruit? (Bonus check: Have you included your NCAA ID number?)
  • 6. Hudl Link - Question: Is your Hudl link included, easy to find, and working? Why it matters: If your film isn’t one click away, they won’t go hunting for it. They just move on.
  • 7. Pinned Post - Question: Do you have a strong pinned post with highlights, measurables, or a coach-ready intro? Why it matters: This is your billboard. If it’s missing or weak, you lose eyes immediately.
