DESCRIPTION: The process of getting a role in a play or movie almost always begins with an Audition. The audition is where actors present themselves solo on a stage and perform one or two monologues that demonstrate their range and ability. This assignment requires a focus on particular skills; and training for it provides much needed confidence as well as insights into what works and doesn’t work. An audition workshop is also a fine way to get started on serious acting instruction.

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by GreenSpace Players, the youth Education Program of Mendocino Theatre Company (herein after refered to as MTC) during the selected class or workshop. In exchange for the acceptance of said child’s candidacy by MTC, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless MTC and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected camp sessions.

In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against MTC including all coaches and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event.
