Thank you for your interest in applying to be considered for our many volunteer positions throughout the York Rite of Missouri. It is volunteers that keep the heart of York Rite Masonry beating strong. Some roles require specific skill sets, some require time throughout the year, and some at specific times.
We are committed to selecting the most qualified companions for committee roles and fostering increased involvement among our membership. To achieve these goals, we invite members who possess relevant experience or a genuine interest in serving on the committees and offices listed below.
If you don't currently attend your local meetings, you can still volunteer and help out at a State or Regional level.
Committee Member Expectations
If you are selected to serve, you may responsible for forming your committee and ensuring it meets at least once every quarter. Additional meetings may be scheduled as necessary to address specific needs. Committee chairs may be asked to present updates at a Grand Officers’ Online meeting and submit a written report detailing your committee’s findings, actions, and recommendations for the past Masonic year.
Guidance and Support
In some cases, a Grand Officer may participate in your committee in an ex officio role, providing guidance and support throughout your activities.
