Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at the LOCnificent Fest 5.0 - FOR THE CULTURE. LOCnificent is an annual day party, with a festival flair, geared towards the celebration of locs/dreadlocks and natural hair. The event will feature DJ sets, live performances, a loc'd & natural hair show, live hair demonstrations, live hair styling and food and merchandise vendors.

LOCATION: SILO Brooklyn, 90 Scott Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11237

 

Application deadline is Friday, August 18, 2023. Applicants will be contacted no later than Friday, August 28th to let them know if they have been selected.

 

Vendor fees range from at $100 - $300 and are due upon application approval and no later than Friday, September 1st. If the fee is not recieved by the deadline, your space will be given to a vendor on the waitlist. The fee excludes the vendor table. 

$100 - informational/services (non-sale) 
$150 - products for sale (one (1) 4-6 ft table)

$225 - products for sale (two (2) 4-6 ft tables)
$300 - food vendors

LOGISTICS

• Vendor set-up will be at 11:30AM. This event is being held at an indoor, ground floor venue, so loading should not be an issue. It is recommended that you prep your station with lighting that does not require electricity.  Lights might be dimmed the last 2-3 hours of the event.
• Vendors are responsible for their own display and setup, including table and tablecloths.  Chairs can be provided upon request.  Displays should not extend outside of the designated space provided. Example: Racks, displays, banners, etc., cannot extend outside of Vendor Space. Fashion vendors with clothing racks, and other large displays please email us to discuss options.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The event will run from 2pm - 9pm.
2. Vendor set up will begin 11:30am.
3. Vendor set up must be complete by 1pm.
4. The vendor fees are due no later than Friday, September 1st. 
5. Completion of this application does not guarantee selection for the market. To have your application considered you must agree that 1) You are the legal owner/ authorized representative on behalf of the business information provided above; 2) You understand that my application will be under review and if selected I will receive additional information; 3) You understand that payments made for this market are non-refundable. If the event is postponed, a rain-date will be provided.
6. Participation in this above mentioned event is at your own risk. Participants shall hold harmless Culture Unloc'd LLC/LOCnificent Fest and its agents, officers and volunteers from all liability, judgments, suits, costs and actions, including attorneys’ fees and all costs of litigation of every kind and description brought or rendered against Culture Unloc'd LLC/LOCnificent Fest, as a result of sickness, loss, damage, or injury of persons or property by reason of any act of failure to act by its officers, members or volunteers. 
7. Media Coverage: LOCnificent Fest will be recorded and shared on various public platforms. By agreeing to be a vendor, you permit the usage of any images or video footage taken at LOCnificent Fest.
8. Vendors and exhibitors are responsible for bringing all items that are required for their booth, including (but not limited to): signs, extension cords, table coverings, promotional materials, a cash float, pens, tape and other stationary items. Chairs are available upon request.
