If you are under 18 you will not be allowed to use the sunbed.
Skin type 1 will not be permitted to use the sunbed.
It is recommended that you do not wear any jewellery during tanning.
UV light is harmful to the naked eye. Never look into the tubes when they are on. Always wear protective googles. Your eyelids do-not provide suffcient protection to your retinas.
Contact lens users are advised to remove their lenses.
Look after your skin by using a moisturising tanning accelerator which improves and extends your tan while also protecting the skin from aging. Use a natural moisturiser and nourishing cream after tanning and showering. We have some available for purchase at our reception.
If on any medication please check or consult your doctor if it contains light-sensitive substances that can influence your skin's sensitivity to UV light.
Sunbed use is not recommended for women that are preganant.
Be patient. Tanning is not like painting where the final coat "covers" immediately. Try not to force the pace.
Intentional tanning unit exposure should be avoided for 48 hours before sunlight or tanning unit exposure.
There is some literature that suggests sunbeds cause cancer. There are also studies that contradict this and because the sunbed industry is regulated, we have to inform you of the potential risk and ask that if you are worried you do further research on the matter before using the sunbed.
