National Gathering for Indigenous Education
🗓️ November 18-20, 2026
🏢 RBC Convention Centre
📍 Winnipeg, MB
The National Gathering is the place where educators and partners in education can celebrate, renew, and rebuild relationships and share experiences with a mutual goal of improving educational outcomes of K-12 Indigenous students.
Indspire strives to showcase proven strategies and promising practices that support the academic achievement and educational success of Indigenous students. We are seeking thoughtful, engaging presentation submissions that highlight pedagogies inclusive of Indigenous cultures, languages, and perspectives. Presentations should offer practical insight, inspiration, and approaches that empower schools, educators, parents, and communities to advance system change, improve outcomes, and support the goal that, within a generation, every Indigenous student will graduate.
🚨 The deadline to submit proposals is Monday August 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET.
Presentation length is based on evidence-informed practices and follows a format similar to a 20-minute TED Talk. Time will also be provided for brief Q&A at the conclusion of each presentation.
Indspire reserves the right to determine whether a selected presentation will be delivered as a pre-recorded virtual session or as an in-person session. If selected to present in person, Indspire will provide travel and hotel accommodations for the main presenter, and hotel accommodations only for one co-presenter. Honoraria are not provided.
If you have more than one co-presenter, please indicate this in the additional information section of the proposal.
We do not accept proposals for panel discussions or keynotes via this online application.
