Club Coaching 

A club coach is an individual responsible for providing coaching and guidance to basketball athletes. A club coach typically works with players at various skill levels. Their role involves organising and conducting training sessions, developing players' skills and understanding of the game, creating game strategies, and fostering a positive and cohesive team environment.

Club coaches play a crucial role in the overall development of athletes, both in terms of individual skills and teamwork, contributing to the success and growth of our Association.

Representative Coaching 

Representative coaching refers to coaching athletes who are selected to represent Gretaer Springfield Basketball Association.

These athletes who show exceptional skills and performance at the club or local level may be chosen to participate in representative teams.

Representative coaching is then provided to these selected athletes to prepare them for higher levels of competition against teams from other associations in the region and state. 

Representative coaching typically involves more advanced training, strategic preparation, and a focus on refining skills to meet the demands of higher-level competition.

Coaches working with representative teams often have a higher level of expertise and experience, as they are tasked with preparing athletes for more competitive and challenging tournaments or events.

In essence, representative coaching aims to bring together the most skilled and talented athletes from a particular area and provide them with specialised training to compete at a higher representative level.
