    • Foster Love House Information  
    • For Your Arrival: 

      • Parking: Located around the back of the house.
      • Door Code: Workers should only be entering through the backdoor with the doorcode (remember to use the checkmark after inputting the number). This code is available through the FLBC text instructions given at time of request and in TEAMS. This code should not be shared with kids. 
      • Map: See the map below to get an idea of the house layout.
      • Communication: Text us at 254-831-3141,if you have any questions & use the board to communicate anything you want other workers to know. 

      Available for your stay: 

      • Medicine: Medicine lock boxes inside the locked closet upstairs. Use your doorcode to gain access.
      • Drinks/Snacks: There are a variety of drinks, coffee, snacks and light meals all available for your use. 
      • Laundry: Full service laundry room including detergent etc. 
      • APPLE TV: Please use the AppleTV to log on to Netflix (Teen Code 1003- Do not share) and other apps including the Arcade App for gaming. 
      • Destination Bag: Check out the Destination Station upstairs to help children in CWOP get a Destination Bag ready to go to placement (see below).
      • Gift Card Support: There may be gift cards avaiable for kids that are in need of new clothing (see below).
      • "Bored Bags" - Provided through our community, each bag has passes to local establishments, snack coupons and other goodies intended to fight boredom while awaiting placement. 
      • Local Resources: We have many local resources available below - please let us know if you have any questions (see below).

      Please read these carefully so you know what to expect while staying at FLBC:
      • Backdoor Only: Caseworkers must use provided doorcode to enter through the backdoor only. This is how we identify you and know you are supposed to be here. 
      • Reporting Issues: Any and all police/ambulance calls must be reported to FLBC immediately. 
      • Reduce Cleanup: No food or drink upstairs.
      • Self Clean: We do not have daily clean-up. Please encourage youth to clean-up after themselves including bringing trash out to the trash can and washing any dishes/cleaning messes made in the kitchen. 
      • Stay Limit: We have a 7 day stay for each child/sibling group available. Anything past 7 days will need a discussion with Executive Director.

      • Full size laundry room with supplies provided
      • 3 bathrooms (one with bathtub)
      • Fully stocked kitchen with snacks, drinks & light meals
      • Full size playroom with Evan's Nook - an OT safe space
    • FLBC Support for CWOP 
    • DESTINATION BAG REQUEST:

      These bags are specifically available to kids in CWOP- You will notice our Destination Station upstairs. Here, you can personalize a Destination Bag for each child in CWOP, so they go to placement with a bag of their very own. Available Items: rolling duffle bag, new pajamas, socks, underwear, all types of haircare needs, various toiletries diapers/wipes of all sizes, baby care items, blanket, stuffy, Bible. Request a Destination Bag Here

    • CWOP NEW CLOTHING GIFT CARD REQUEST:

      We know many kids arrive with only a handful of things when they come into CWOP. We have a limited supply of gift cards available for caseworkers to take kids shopping for new clothing items. This allows kids to go to placement with dignity and feel good about themselves. Requests for gift cards will be fulfilled by FLBC staff 9-4, M-F. Request HERE


    • BORED BAGS REQUESTS:

      Bored Bags are thoughtful care packages created specifically for children and teens experiencing CWOP (Children Without Placement). Each bag is designed to offer comfort, entertainment, and a reminder that they are not forgotten during a very hard season.

      Thanks to the generosity of our local community, each Bored Bag may include:

      • Passes to fun experiences like movie theaters, art studios, gaming centers, dessert shops, and local water parks
      • Comfort items such as snacks, fidget toys, journals, and small games
      • All items and experience passes are donated by community members and local businesses, and are subject to availability.
      • These bags are exclusively for youth in CWOP. They are not available for general distribution or placements outside of CWOP status.
