SLIDING SCALE PRICING

Tickets for workshops are sold on a sliding scale and we encourage you to pay according to your available resources. Those with greater financial privilege contribute more, allowing those with less access to pay according to their means. This allows Franconia to sustain its services while making accessibility as broad as possible. Sliding scale prices can be seen in the dropdown menus. Sliding scale pricing is available for all Franconia Education Programs thanks to a grant from the Hugh J. Andersen Foundation.

Workshop Registration

Cyanotype Portraits - Aug 15 | 1-4PM

Learn the basics of cyanotype printing and pose for a portrait with photographer Jaida Grey Eagle, creating a cyanotype keepsake for life. While waiting for their portraits to be processed and printed, participants will have the opportunity to practice cyanotype techniques using pre-prepared smaller-format prints. Portraits may be creative, single, couple, maternity, family etc. Limit 5 people per image, each person must be registered for the workshop.

Foraging - Sept 10, 5-8PM

Join foraging expert Tim Clemens, founder of Ironwood Foraging Co., to learn how to safely forage for edible and medicinal wild plants and mushrooms. We will walk through Franconia Sculpture Park to practice identification, foraging ethics, and uses for what we find; questions strongly encouraged! Rain or shine!

PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

I hereby give my permission for images of me and each of the participants in my party captured during the workshop through video, photo, and digital means, to be used solely for the purposes of Franconia Sculpture Park promotional material, publications and grant reporting, in print and online, and I waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

No refunds will be given in the event that participants are unable to attend a workshop. On a case by case basis, Franconia may allow people to transfer their registration to a different workshop.

In the case of cancellation due to weather or other extenuating circumstance, Franconia Sculpture Park will attempt to reschedule the workshop. In the event that this is not possible, a full refund will be returned to each participant.
