The Liberian Youth SDGs Champions Awards 🏆
About the Liberian Youth SDGs Champions Awards The Champions of Tomorrow: The Liberian Youth SDGs Champions Awards, a signature programme of The Changers Liberia and other partnering institutions and individuals who wield the power of creativity and innovation to bring us closer to a more sustainable, equitable and peaceful world. This flagship program will identify, award, and publicize community projects driven by young Liberians (ages 18–35) addressing one or more SDGs. By showcasing successful, sustainable and scalable projects, the Awards will motivate peers nationwide to become “SDG champions.” The program will be a high-profile national event – featuring an award ceremony with speeches, performances, media coverage, and presentation of trophies/prizes – and will offer winners potential post awards follow-up supports. Finalists are invited to the Champions of Tomorrow: The Liberian Youth SDGs Champions Awards Ceremony which unveils and celebrates the winners with music, art and inspiring messages from leaders from all backgrounds and counties of Liberia. The 2025 UN SDG Action Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday, 12th December 2025 in Monrovia, Liberia.
Eligibility
1. Must be a Liberian and Youth between 18-35 years 2. Campaigns or initiatives must demonstrate proven results within the last two years and align with the 2025 award categories. Initiatives still in the planning or conceptualization stage are not eligible. 3. Initiatives led by government or UN entities will be selected only for "Honorary Awards ". 3. Previous Finalists and Winners of the Liberian Youth SDGs Champions Awards are not eligible to apply. 4. Must pay a package fee of $40USD for individual award package which includes: 1. Three VIP and two ordinary tickets 2. Certificate of Recognition 3. Customized T-shirt and face cap with preferred SDG mention(This only applies to finalists).
