Thank you for your interest in the Sacred Moves Yoga Teacher Training and immersion program with Michelle Freeman. Whether your intention is to teach, or just to deepen your personal practice, this program and immersion is designed in a way that encourages an authentic exploration and genuine understanding of yoga through study, direct experience and self reflection.

This training will be your personal journey.  We encourage you to bring an intention into this program for what you'd like to recieve from the course personally.  Perhaps more confidence in your practice or more self awareness. You will have the opportunity to learn about yoga philosophy, explore pranayama conscious awareness and use of breath, practice meditation, study the Yamas and Niyamas as well as teaching tools and techniques. Out of this will emerge learned and thoughtful practitioners and instructors.
 

The Yoga Essentials Immersion is the first step towards embarking on this teacher training program and can be done as a stand alone course.  This would involve 3 weekends of study over 5 weeks time and weekly online sessions in addition to personal practice time.

The full Sacred Moves Teacher Training program consists of nine weekend immersive sessions with the following tentative schedule: 

Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Sundays 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

In addition we will meet once a week online on Zoom.  These sessions will be recorded so if you are unable to attend, you can join the replay.  The online sessions are a key aspect of maintaining the group space of committed practice and reflection time.  In these sessions you will recieve weekly support on various themes we will explore and a continued exploration into the topic at hand.

Tuesdays 6 pm -730 pm 

The following weekends represent the tentative schedule for the 2023 program:

Dates: 

Module One: July 8, 9  / July 22, 23 / August 12, 13 

Module Two: August 19, 20 / Sept 9,10 / Sept 23, 24. 

Module Three: Oct 7, 8 / Oct 28, 29 / Nov 11, 12

 

Additionally, the program participants will meet online every Tuesday evening from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. There are very flexible options for students who cannot attend every session so making up missed sessions is very straightforward. Students are allowed to miss up to twenty hours of the Program. Details are provided later in this document.

Tuition for 350 hour program:
          

             $6000

             Early Bird available to the first 12 participants of $5500

Pay in full option recieves an additional $500 discount from early bird rate above.  This requires a full payment of the tuition fee.

Application Process:
o  Fill out this application and select submit at the bottom.
o  A $500 non-refundable deposit is required in order to process your application.

Emergency Contact:

  General Program Policies:
 
o  Applicants must be at least eighteen years of age.
o  Applicants must have been in an consistent yoga practice for at least six months and be willing to cultivate a meditation practice during the Program.
o  Applicants are requested to submit this form, with the non-refundable $500 deposit, prior to July 1 2023.
o  Students must attend and actively participate in the required training weekends.
o  Enrollment, payment and attending the Program weekends does not guarantee a Certificate of Completion. Students are expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the program content ,with the Program instructors, at the completion of the program.
o  Deposits and tuition for the Program are non-refundable. Payments may be made via cash, check or credit card.
o  Students must attend a minimum of twenty classes at the Nambour Yoga Centre over the duration of the course program.

Attendance/Make-Up Policy:

If there is a need to miss any hours or sessions within the program, we request that the instructors be notified as far in advance as possible.

Students are allowed to miss up to twenty hours of training without requiring that the hours be made up. Any hours missed between twenty and forty hours of the program must be made up in order to receive the 350 Hour Certificate of Completion. For every four hours missed, the student may take a one hour private make-up session, to be scheduled with head instructor of the course. The cost of each one hour make-up session is $150, or $75 if the make-up session is shared with another student who missed that day.

Payment Plan Policies:

o  The balance of $5,000 less deposit is due on the following dates in equal payments of $1000

o  July 1st, 2023
o  Aug 1st, 2023
o  Sept 1st, 2023
o  Oct 1st, 2023

o  Nov 1st, 2023

o  Payment is done via auto-pay with a credit card stored on the student’s account
o  Payment failure due to credit card rejection, will result in a penalty fee of $25
o  Failure to make any payment within ten days of the dues date may result in ejection from the program
o  Any prior payments are non-refundable
 
Refund Policy:
o  The deposit and tuition are non-refundable
o  Students who are asked to leave the program for inappropriate or unacceptable behavior will not receive a refund

Upon submission of this application, I understand that the $500 deposit for the training is non-refundable and non-transferable, and tuition is not refundable.  Furthermore, I acknowledge that I have read this entire document, understand the absentee policy as stated herein, understand all other policies and recognize that I may not receive a teacher training completion certificate unIess all assignments, reading requirements and attendance are completed.
