    You should try to identify outstanding activity on the part of the teaching staff you are nominating. You might like to address some or all of the following:

    • engaging, challenging and accessible course content / delivery
    • offering guidance, inspiration, and support to students
    • course content that promotes student success
    • effective use of online learning environment and community building
    • engaging, challenging, innovative assessment and effective feedback
    • course content and delivery reflects professional and industry connections and 'real world' experience
    • connection of course delivery or course content to shared community values (i.e. the values expressed in the Reconciliation Action Plan and the Disability Action Plan)

  • How will my submission be assessed?

  • The students on the assessment panel will judge nominations by how you have shown how staff have created a better Student Learning Experience. 

    The Student Learning Experience is made up of all the things that go into teaching you and the environment in which you learn.

    • Curriculum: The way content and learning was organised.
    • Teaching and Learning: The way content and skills were taught to you and how you learned.
    • Assessment and Feedback: How learning was measured and results communicated back to you. 
    • Resources, Environment and Technology: Everything you needed to be successful in the topic, including the spaces you learn (physical and virtual), topic resources  and the technologies that assist you. 
    • Organisation and Management: The processes put in place to support learning and effective course delivery.
    • Community and Belonging: Opportunities for peer support and building inclusive learning communities, including local community engagement.
    • Student Progression and Achievement: How your learning progressed from one year / topic to the next and what the outcomes were of your studies.
    • Guidance and Support: The support and advice of the staff in making the learning experience inclusive, accessible and encouraging.
