Create and Care Camp 2026

at St. John Lutheran Church
Campers starting grades 1-6 in the fall are welcomed to attend a day camp where kids will get to create art, explore life in the garden and learn about God’s amazing creation and how to care for it.

Dates: July 13-17, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Cost: $25 for the first child from a family, $5 for additional siblings. Click here to donate. Scholarships available.

Space is limited to 50 campers. Please register by July 6th.

Camp Shirts!
What is camp without a great shirt to go with it? At the Create and Care Camp, campers screen print their own camp shirt on site!

Please send your camper(s) with a plain, cotton t-shirt or any color but white. Caring for creation is part of the CCCamp ethos. We believe in re-using when possible before buying new. As such, we encourage using a shirt already in their closet, or sourcing shirts second-hand.

If you would like assistance with this, St. John will have some shirts on hand to match your camper(s) to.

Camp Party!
What better way to close out camp than with a party? We'd love to invite our campers and their families to celebrate the wonderful things we've done at camp together. There will be food and fun for all!

Sunscreen Application Consent
Weather permitting, our camp takes place outside. Outside means lots of sun time. Sun time means sunburns. St. John will have sunscreen available for campers who need it.

You are being asked to authorize St. John Lutheran Church personnel (camp director or volunteer) to provide your child with a commercial brand sunscreen lotion for their application in the case that your child forgets to bring or wear sunscreen in order for them to participate in planned outdoor activities. If you permit your child to use sunscreen provided by the camp, you also agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless St. John Lutheran Church and any of their staff and volunteers from lawsuits, claim, expense, demand, or actions against them for the application of sunscreen lotion for your child.

Photographic & Media Consent
We love to tell the story of all the things we are doing at St. John, CCCamp included. And as it is said, pics or it didn't happen.

You are being asked to give consent for the collection and use of your child’s personal images by photography or video recording. If you give consent, you are acknowledging that these images may be used on the St. John Lutheran Church website, social media, YouTube channel, newsletters, and publications as well as distributed to members or used for St. John Lutheran Church promotion in the future. No personal information, such as names, will be used in any publications unless express consent is given.

I hereby consent to the participation of my child in all of St. John Lutheran Church Create and Care Camp 2026 supervised activities including story time, indoor and outdoor recreational games, crafts, garden activities, and snack time. I, the Parent or Guardian named below, authorize the Director or one of St. John Lutheran Church personnel to sign consent for medical treatment and to authorize any physician or hospital to provide medical assessment, treatment, or procedures for the participant named above. I, named below, undertake and agree to indemnify and hold blameless St. John Lutheran Church, its Personnel, its Leaders, and Board from and against any loss, damage or injury suffered by the participant as a result of being part of the activities of Create and Care Camp 2026, as well as of any medical treatment authorized by the supervising individuals representing St. John Lutheran Church.
