The Outstanding Women of NKY Awards luncheon is presented by the Women's Initiative of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and St. Elizabeth Healthcare. The Education Partners include Toyota, Northern Kentucky University, Thomas More University and Gateway Community & Technical College.
The Outstanding Women of Northern Kentucky Awards, established in 1984, honor women who work, live or volunteer in Northern Kentucky and who exemplify: notable achievement, outstanding service in their professions or to the Northern Kentucky community, and the qualities of personal integrity, perseverance and leadership. The women represent the great diversity and extraordinary accomplishment of today's women. All the nominees represent ideal role models for the young women who will follow in their footsteps.
Outstanding Women of NKY Award
- celebrates women who live, work or volunteer in Northern Kentucky and represent the great diversity and extraordinary accomplishments of today's women. All the honorees represent ideal role models for the young women who follow in their footsteps.
Emerging Leader Award
- awarded to a woman who has made an impact on the NKY community and is under the age of 40.
Judith Clabes Lifetime Achievement Award
- awarded to a woman that has had a major impact on the NKY community over her lifetime.
Helen Carroll Champion of Education
awarded to a woman that is a recognized leader for her impact and dedication to education in the NKY community.
for the Outstanding Women program are now being accepted. Nominees should be made aware of your nomination. Past winners are not eligible. A list of previous recipients is available at www.NKYChamber.com/OWNK.
Nominations must be submitted on this electronic form and should include up to three (3) references. References may be submitted through this electronic form and/or may be submitted as a formal letter of support (not to exceed two pages each). The person submitting the nomination may also be one of the three (3) references.
Substantiating materials may also be submitted. Nominations and substantiating materials will not be returned. The maximum number of pages that can be submitted is ten (10) including the application.
The judges will refer to the Mission Statement and categories above when considering the nominees. You may use this as a guide when filling out a reference or submitting a letter of support. Winners will be notified by March 2019.
Nominations must be received by February 8, 2019.
