Welcome to the Ron & Kathy Assaf College of Nursing Scholarship Navigation Platform.
To ensure your application is considered, all information must be submitted via NSU's Microsoft Form by the deadline set for each semester. Scholarship applications are no longer accepted via email. Do not email your application, give your application to your professor, or walk your application to the offices.
Notification of scholarship award status will be sent within 20 days after the deadline to ONLY those who received an award. Students who receive a notification of award must, within 10 days of notification:
• Write a thank you letter to the donor. Instructions for the letter will be included in the award notification email. The letter must be submitted to Dr. Gesulla Cavanaugh at gcavanaugh@nova.edu
• Submit a professional headshot photo or plan to take a professional picture with the dean if on campus. Pictures should be a close-up of the student dressed in NSU ACON nursing uniform with a lab coat or in professional attire. Pictures may be used for publication and will be sent to the donor of the scholarship funds.
• You may be asked to meet with the donor so that the donor can hear firsthand how the funds have impacted you.
Failure to provide an appropriate picture or thank you letter will forfeit the scholarship, another applicant will be offered the scholarship funds.
All awardees will be notified of the final decision by NSU email.
Applicants who did not receive an award will not receive an additional email; however, feel free to reach out to Dr. Cavanaugh after the 20 days have elapsed if you have any questions or concerns.
