    • A mission-driven organization not quite ready to hire an in-house grant writer or commit to a full-time consultant;
    • An existing staff writer looking to get coaching to improve their grant writing and win more grants
    • An emerging freelancer or grant consultant looking to level up your skills; or,
    • A current or recently graduated university student exploring a career in grant writing.

    This course is the only one you will need to understand grant writing, management, funder research, budgeting, and more. You’ll get expert guidance, tools, and support to sharpen your skills, strengthen your strategy, and WIN MORE GRANTS!

    Internship & Apprenticeship

    We're looking for aspiring grant writers who can commit at least 20 hours per week for three months starting in June. Assignments will be given throughout the program to determine if your skills and work style align with the demands of GDS.

    Interns and Apprentices who excel during training will be eligible for a paid position after successful completion of the training program. If your time as an intern/apprentice results in your hiring we will reimburse you the cost of your training program as sign on bonus. This option is only available for current university students, recent graduates of appropriate degree programs, and emerging grant professionals interested in an apprenticeship. Current students may earn internship or independent study credits with approval from their school. Contact us to discuss requirements.

    Internship & Apprenticeship will be expected to attend two meetings per week.
