The POA office can provide a volunteer certification letter for students who are trying to earn service hours. If you need a certification letter, you will be given a log sheet to mark your hours and get signed after each volunteer session. If you are a student volunteer, select below if you will need a volunteer certification letter.

For planning and organization meetings, we will most likely meet on Tuesday through Thursday evenings. Please indicate below if you are available for meetings at those times.*

Planning & Ideas: Help brainstorm and shape meaningful, fun, and memorable events for our community.Event Coordination & Setup: Assist with organizing spaces, schedules, vendors, supplies, and behind-the-scenes coordination that brings events together.History & Storytelling: Share historical facts, research, displays, presentations, or educational activities that honor America’s past.Creative & Design Support: Help design backdrops, decorations, displays, or themed elements that bring the celebration to life.Community Outreach & Promotion: Connect with neighbors, promote events, spread the word, and help build excitement throughout Hidden Valley Lake.Event Day Volunteers: Lend a hand during events—greeting guests, assisting activities, managing booths, or supporting staff and fellow volunteers.Youth & Family Activities: Help plan or assist with kid-friendly & family activities, crafts, games, and interactive experiences.Sponsorships & Partnerships: Assist with reaching out to local businesses, organizations, or sponsors who may want to support the celebration by donating items for raffles.General Support: Pitch in wherever needed—before, during, or after events.
