TANZ Ambassador Program (TAP)

Thank you for your interest in becoming a TANZ Community Ambassador. We are looking for 6 to 8 warm, reliable people from across Aotearoa who have lived experience of Tourette’s or tic disorders, either personally or through whānau. You do not need professional qualifications or previous volunteer experience. This form should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Applications close at 11.59 pm on 14 September 2026. We will contact applicants by 17 September.

Boundaries, safety and checks

I understand that Community Ambassadors do not provide clinical, counselling, crisis or legal services, and that any questions that are complex, or involve media, safeguarding and serious advocacy matters must be referred back to TANZ.

If selected, I am willing to complete induction and follow policies on the follwing: TANZ Code of Conduct, confidentiality, safeguarding, social media, complaints and expenses.

A response does not automatically exclude you. TANZ may discuss reasonable supports, boundaries or role adjustments.
