• GMB Booking Enquiry

The GMB rooms may be booked by a Trinity society or College body during term time. This form allows you to request approval from the Hist Auditor and Phil President. Approval does not guarantee you a booking; the Enquiries Office will contact you directly to issue you a booking confirmation slip. Without this, you cannot use the space. Please note, due to the scale of requests, booking requests made to use the space within the same working week will be cancelled. If your request is cancelled, you should not resubmit your request.
  • If a booking request still says "pending approval", your booking has not yet been confirmed by the Enquiries Office, and isn't yet authorised to go ahead.

Pending and confirmed booking requests are both shown in the calendar below.

  • Booking Details

    Room details are below.

  • Ground Floor: Debating Chamber, Phil Conversation Room*
    First Floor: Hist Conversation Room
    Second Floor: Rec Room
Third Floor: Resource Room, Computer Room

*Due to noise carryover, the Debating Chamber and Phil Convo cannot be booked for separate events at the same time, but you aren't obligated to use both spaces. The Phil Convo Room alone has a capacity of 80.

If you are unsure which room you want to book, or need to book multiple rooms, select "other" and clarify your needs.

Please note that in general the Debating Chamber, Phil Conversation Room and Hist Conversation Room will not be available after 6pm on Wednesdays due to Hist debates, and the Debating Chamber and Phil Conversation Room will not be available after 6pm on Thursdays due to Phil debates. The Debating Chamber and Phil Conversation Room are not available after 6pm on Mondays for Theo meetings.

If you are using any room, you are expected to return the tables and chairs in that room to exactly how you found it. This is part of the GMB terms of use. Societies that fail to do this will not be approved for future requests.
