GMB Booking Enquiry

The GMB rooms may be booked by any Trinity society or College body during term time. To make a booking, email the Enquiries Office with confirmation of approval from the Hist Auditor and Phil President. Booking enquiries should be submitted at least 10 days in advance of the event.
If a booking request still says "pending approval", your booking has not yet been confirmed by the Enquiries Office, and isn't yet authorised to go ahead.

Please note that in general the Debating Chamber, Phil Conversation Room and Hist Conversation Room will not be available after 6pm on Wednesdays due to Hist debates, and the Debating Chamber and Phil Conversation Room will not be available after 6pm on Thursdays due to Phil debates. The Debating Chamber and Phil Conversation Room are usually booked after 6pm on Mondays for Theo meetings.

Event approval
As of 28 January 2022, event approval for both outdoor and indoor non-academic events has returned to pre-COVID-19 procedures.

Bookings for college spaces should be made through Central Events by emailing enquiries@tcd.ie. The procedures are also found on the Central Events website.

Junior Dean approval is necessary for any events/parties/receptions, excluding routine society events (such as meetings, coffee hours, library hours, rehearsals, classes, film nights, workshops etc). More information can be found on the Junior Dean website.
