1. All required payments must be paid in full before classes begin. Tuition refunds may be requested up to 2 months before the start date of classes. Students who have started classes but have attenuating circumstances that require them to withdraw from the course may request a partial tuition refund under the school's sole discretion.
2. If the institution refuses admission or enrollment, a student will receive a full refund, except for non-refundable charges (initial application fee, I-20 processing fee, I-20 submission fee, SEVIS fee, and consular fee).
3. Registration, I-20 processing, and mailing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
4. Authorization for the use of Image, Voice, and/or Likeness: By signing this agreement, the student irrevocably consents and authorizes the Florida Language School LLC dba Just Go Languages the absolute right and permission to use my likeness in photographs, videos, audio recordings, drawings, renderings, voices, audio clips, images, accompanying written descriptions or other digital media (collectively, the "Images"), and any reproduction of them in any form, in any media whatsoever. The student also agrees and understands that the Images may be used for any lawful purpose, including school-sponsored websites, print ads, direct-mail pieces, publications, promotions, broadcasts, posters, banners, theater slides, and non-school purposes. The student also waives any right to inspect or approve the finished images or any printed or electronic matter used with them or compensated for them.
5. Florida Language School dba Just Go Languages doesn’t provide housing accommodation.
6. Just Go Languages does not provide health insurance. Students are strongly encouraged to have medical insurance. Just Go Languages is not responsible for students' insurance.
7. Just Go Languages'and its representatives shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, illness, or injury to persons or property caused, except when such liability is imposed by statute. In the event that services to be provided to students by Just Go Languages and its representatives are not provided for reasons beyond Just Go Languages' direct control, Just Go Languages and its representatives shall not be liable. Just Go Languages policies, procedures and regulations are subject to change anytime per the discretion of the school’s (Just Go Languages) management. Just Go Languages reserves the right to substitute any class and or program for one of equal or greater value per the discretion of the school’s (Just Go Languages) management.
8. By signing this agreement, the student agrees and consents to abide by the student conduct rules and other policies while attending Just Go Languages. As part of our school’s commitment to our student's success, we seek to provide an optimal learning environment and expect students to conduct themselves in a considerate manner of those around them. Inappropriate conduct includes, but is not limited to: 1) disruptions to the learning environment (i.e., use of profanity, harassment, bullying, mobile phone use in classrooms, etc.); (2) deliberate destruction, misuse, or theft of School property or the property of classmates; (3) violence or threats of violence towards persons or property of students or Just Go Languages’ staff; (4) improper use of email or internet access; and (5) failure to comply with local copyright or criminal laws forbidding the misappropriation, copying or alteration of copyright-protected materials.
9. The institution reserves the right to cancel any study program or classes. If the institution cancels the study program after enrollment, the institution will reimburse all sums paid by the student.
10. If the student never attends class (or does not show up) or cancels registration after the start date, refunds may be denied. If the student attends class, refunds will be calculated from the month following the last day of class.
11. Our representatives are tasked with submitting any refund requests from the student to the Florida Language School. No written notice is required but is advisable.
12. Refunds will only be made to the person, company, or agency that paid the school. Students who have paid for the program through an agency must directly request reimbursement from that agency.
13. All refunds will be made by check; unless the student pays by credit card, the school will remit the refund funds to the original credit card used for payment or thru PayPal. If school-related fees are paid by bank transfer, the school will send the funds to the bank account from which the payment originated.
14. If a student enters the United States with an I-20 form obtained at the school or applies for a Change of Status (from Tourist to Student Status) with an I-20 form from school and later cancels before the scheduled classes begin or have never attended the course, the school will maintain the equivalent of 8 (eight) weeks of payment. The remainder will be returned to the student.
15. The student's enrollment period length is also their financial obligation period. If a student wants to terminate enrollment before the registered time, the student needs to communicate with the school at least 31 (thirty-one) days before, being also financially responsible for this period.
16. In case of debt with our school (fees and/or tuition), the student must pay his debt before requesting a transfer to another institution.
17. Application extensions count as a separate new financial obligation period and will follow the same criteria as the previous one.
18. Refunds may take up to 90 calendar days.
19. In cases where the student does not tell the school that they are terminating enrollment, the date of determination is the date:
I. When the school administratively withdraws the student; or
II. The school shuts down the student due to failure to comply with attendance, behavior, or progress policies.
20. Tuition payments paid with a promotional discount will be charged/refunded according to what was paid at registration. In case of early termination by the student, the student will be responsible for paying the difference from the regular price.
21. The institution reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $800 (eight hundred dollars) in a case of student withdrawal / early termination/student transfer, to cover the service provided and administrative costs, under school's sole discretion.
22. Upon initiation of any session, the following cancellation policy will apply:
Tuition for the entire 16-week session (or for the proposed duration of your study if less than 16 weeks) is non-refundable unless you have a documented medical emergency. If you need to return to your home country for a documented emergency during your session, the unused portion of your record will be kept in mind for a period of one year for use in return.
23. The school reserves the right to charge for replacement classes, when necessary, under the school's sole discretion.
24. The school reserves the right to charge fees for administrative/service requests under the school's sole discretion.
25. The School reserves the right to change prices due to tax increases, governmental actions, or other events beyond Florida Language School LLC dab Just Go Languages’ control.
26. The school reserves the right to decide on subjects/matters not mentioned/stated on this contract under the school's sole discretion.
