Girl Scout trips and travel should be a progressive experience for girls.
Before completing this form, please refer to the Volunteer Essentials tab on the Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council webpage, Safety Activity Checkpoints, and the Trip Training Requirements Chart for specific emergency procedures and safety guidelines for each activity. Be sure to follow all guidelines that apply to your trip and planned activities.

High Risk Activities include:

Anything involving the handling of firearms, including riflery and shooting ranges

Indoor skydiving

Any paddling activities in whitewater, including rafting, kayaking or canoeing

High elements such as ropes courses, climbing walls, rappelling, ziplines

Motor sports with extreme speeds on rough/exposed terrain or water, including speed boats, ATVs, snowmobiles, jetskis, NASCAR/racecar experiences

Land sports with potential extreme speeds, including downhill skiing or snowboarding

Horseback riding

SCUBA diving

Indoor trampoline parks
-
Primitive camping or backpacking trips
