Hail Mary Rescue Adoption Application is in place to make sure You, your Family and our Dogs are matched correctly to the best of our abilty. Our dogs are in foster homes where the personalities, likes/dislikes can be discussed with our fosters.

All of our dogs are fully vaccinated, spayed and neutered, and microchipped. Most of our adult dogs receive a 6 month Proheart inj and are parasite free.
If you are doing an out of state adoption, our Louisiana dogs arrive with a Health Certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian and we use USDA licensed transport companies. Hail Mary Rescue covers the cost of transport.

We pre adopt our dogs on a 14 day trail period and if you feel our dog is not a good match for you and your family, we will reimburse the full adoption donation if we are contacted prior to the 14 day expiration period.

We match our dogs according to the information YOU answer here. If the dog you are interested in is not suitable, we will be more than happy to try and find one who is. Southeast Louisiana has an overpopulation of unwanted dogs turned into area shelters daily.

Every application is responded to by our adoption coordinators. Submitting the application does NOT mean the dog is yours. We are all Volunteers so please give us time to match you up with a wonderful dog.
