    Terms and Conditions of Competition Squad Contract:

    TRAINING

     Athlete Commitment Agreement
     

    I agree to:

    1. Training Attendance: I commit to the weekly training sessions. I understand the minimum recommended days required for my specific competition level.
    2. Training Diary: I will always bring my training diary to class. I understand it is an essential tool for tracking progress, setting goals, and maintaining motivation throughout the season.
    3. Punctuality: I will remain committed to arriving on time for all training sessions.
    4. Team Support: I will encourage and support every team member in the squad.
    5. Focus: I will stay motivated and focused during all training sessions.
    6. Preparation: I will arrive at each training session having rehearsed movement and choreography as required by the coaches.
    7. Injury Communication: I will update and inform my coach of any injuries or strains I may have sustained so that they are aware before training commences.
    8. In-Class Warm-up: I will ensure my athlete adequately warms up and stretches prior to all training sessions and classes.
    9. External Warm-up: If training outside of HDSAF classes, I will be sure to warm up and stretch before all activities I take part in.
    10. Hydration & Fuel: I will hydrate before each training session/class and bring water and carbohydrate-rich snacks to consume during training.
    11. Testing: I will participate in training and Fitness Testing Events to keep on track with my fitness goals.
    12. Equipment Safety: When using equipment or machines, I will ensure I stay safe, remain focused, and am alertat all times.

    Training Year Dates for 2026 Competition season:

    The commitment for the 2026 competition season runs for a full 10 months:

    Training commenced Term 4 October 13, 2025, New members can join up until February 28, 2026.

    Training 2026 Commencing: Monday, January 19
    Training Commitments Ending: Saturday, November 28

    COMMITMENT

    I agree to:

    1. Participate in the competition schedule for 2026.
    2. Attend All Athlete Workshops.
    3. Book in for PT lessons each term and additional lessons when needed to be best prepared.
    4. Holiday and special rehearsals to prepare for upcoming events
    5. Participate in Showcase 2026 on Saturday 7th of November, 2026.
    6. Attend all training unless unwell or injured. Medical documentation (e.g., doctor's note) will be required.
    7. Book holiday/vacation dates around dates of competition to cause less disruption to the yearly schedule/programs. 

    COMMUNICATION

    I agree to:

    1. Communicate with my coach if feeling sick or injured.
    2. Keep my coach informed of cancellations to training and/or lateness.
    3. Only tag HARRIMAN DSAF in posts and comments appropriately and with good judgment.
    4. Your commitment to Harriman's weekly classes is for a full year. To facilitate this, annual weekly memberships have been established. While adjustments to your membership can be made, please note that you are still required to meet the minimum training days and classes specified for your age group and competition stream level. Please be aware that if a competition falls on a scheduled training day, you will need to attend classes in that week on another day to fulfill your membership. Amendments to contracts and invoices will only be considered in cases of serious injury (with supporting documentation) or for holiday periods exceeding 21 days (also requiring documentation).

    PAYMENTS

    1. Ensure your invoice is paid by the due date specified on the invoice and to the correct account listed.
    2. Any difficulties with payments must be discussed and solved in person or through email.
    3. Understand that invoices are sent at the beginning of each term and that each invoice payment is a yearly fee split into 4 payments. This will be differetn to other years moving into 2026. We wont always have the dedicated school holidays off from training, depending when competitions fall (tbc) we might only have one week off and continue our training.
    4. Acknowledge that we may incur additional fees during the year for extras including competitions which require additional fees (e.g., judge levy, photo levy, memberships, entry fees, holiday workshops, team building activities and travel costs).
    5. Acknowledge that additional payments for costuming, uniform and music are a requirement and expected if competing with Harriman DSAF.

    ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS

    1. The coach will take reasonable steps to minimise the risk of injuries during training sessions.
    2. Any disputes arising from this contract shall be resolved through a third party.
    3. Either party reserves the right to terminate this contract with written notification should unforeseen issues arise that make the athlete's continued participation in physical fitness impossible.
