to take adequate care of any fostered dog in my care by providing nutritious food, plentiful water, and adequate shelter, as well as control of external parasites (fleas and ticks).
I will not sell, surrender to a shelter or other rescue of the dog being fostered.
to immediately notify HDBnQ Rescue in the event that a foster dog goes missing or is injured.
I agree to always walk this dog on leash, only letting them play or walk off leash in a safe, enclosed environment.
that my foster dog will not be placed outside on a tie-out (in a yard, in front of a café, store etc.)
to transport the foster dog to a veterinarian, when necessary (HDBnQ Rescue may be able provide transportation if requested)
to administer any medications prescribed by a veterinarian or inform HDBnQ Rescue if unable to do so
not to transfer care of this animal to any other person, even a friend or family member, without the written authorization of HDBnQ Rescue.
to provide HDBnQ Rescue with electronic photos and/or videos of the cat or allow a volunteer HDBnQ Rescue into your home to take such photos so that he/she may be publicized for adoption
that I am responsible for the safety of the foster dog in my care and for the safety of other dogs and people the dog comes into contact with.
to provide HDBnQ Rescue with at least one week’s notice if you are unable to continue fostering the foster dog
the Foster dog is HDBnQ Rescue’s responsibility and may not be abandoned, given, or sold to any other person or organization
HDBnQ Rescue may visit the home or remove the dog from the foster home at any time.
and understand that all basic medical expenses for the foster dog will be covered by HDBnQ Rescue, provided that an authorized HDBnQ Rescue representative has approved the medical expenses, and the care is from a HDBnQ Rescue designated veterinarian.
and understand that if I choose to go to a vet of my choosing, I may be responsible for the expenses.
and understand that if I decide to adopt my foster dog, I must go through the adoption process, including paying the requested donation. (Donations are used to help cover costs to save more pets)
and understand that all foster pets are the property of HDBnQ Rescue and I will relinquish all custody claims and rights to ownership of the foster dog.
to return the foster dog immediately at the request of an authorized HDBnQ Rescue representative(s) who will pick it up.
This document provides for the release of liability of Hella Dam Bitches n Queens Rescue Inc. (HDBnQ Rescue) and its volunteers on account of the actions of any dog of any breed, which has been released into the ownership of HDBnQ Rescue and placed into the care of a Foster Care Provider (“any fostered dog”).

that HDBnQ Rescue is not liable for any damage to person or property that is caused by this animal and that HDBnQ Rescue is not financially or legally responsible for medical or any other expenses incurred by this animal.
that whenever a child is in the house with the foster dog, the child is at risk of being accidentally knocked over, scratched, or bitten, etc.
to never under any circumstances leave a child unattended with any foster dog
to not leave bones/toys around the house when children are present and be cautious and observant when children are eating and the foster dog is in the room.
If there is a child in the household under the age of 5, the dog must be in a crate or in a separate room when the dog is eating or sleeping to prevent accidents.
that Children under the age of 13 will not walk the dog unless supervised by an adult.

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO REVIEW HELLA DAM BITCHES N QUEENS RESCUE’S FOSTER POLICIES:

Veterinary Care Policy: As a donation-based rescue, we provide veterinary care for conditions that appear to be serious or life threatening that we deem is ethically necessary. To determine whether treatment is ethically necessary, Hella Dam Bitches n Queens Rescue reserves the right to make all decisions regarding whether a condition is considered life threatening and/ or ethically necessary. Foster families who disagree with the decisions of our directors always have the option of paying medical expenses themselves. For minor conditions that are not life threatening, we may allow the dog to recover on their own before seeking veterinary care. Please keep in mind that many shelter animals come to us with kennel cough or skin irritations and are already on medication. All dogs will be vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and all dogs over 5 months will be spayed/neutered at Hella Dam Bitches n Queens Rescue’s expense.

Off -Leash Policy: Hella Dam Bitches n Queens Rescue has a strict policy that rescue dogs may not be let off-leash in an unfenced area or brought to dog parks during the duration of the foster arrangement.

Release of Liability: Hella Dam Bitches n Queens Rescue makes every effort to communicate breed, age, health and behavior information about each rescue animal. We often rely on the health and behavior evaluations of the shelters before receiving an animal; As a result, we require foster families to release us of all liability resulting from any wrong or incomplete information they may receive about a particular animal. Dogs may also act unpredictably in new environments, new situations, with new people, and when scared/stressed. This is why we suggest the first week or so to not introduce the animal to new people or new animals in the home. When incorporating a dog successfully into your home with other pets, keeping the animals separate in the home, always monitored when together, and going for on- leash pack walks is the best way to integrate animals with one another. Foster families must release Hella Dam Bitches n Queens Rescue of all liability for any injuries or accidents that result from their rescue dog and also accept liability for any incidents that arise out of introductions of rescue animals to third parties Hella Dam Bitches n Queens Rescue does not require foster families to socialize dogs with people outside of their immediate family, and any decision to do so must be taken solely at the risk of the foster family.

I understand that although reasonable effort has been made to assess the disposition of each dog released to Hella Dam Bitches n Queens Rescue beforehand but, being living animals, they may act unpredictably in any given situation, and that I must take necessary precautions to prevent accidents and guard against unpredicted actions by any fostered dog in my care.
