Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a special two-day community celebration in the heart of downtown Brevard.
The America 250 Celebration kicks off Friday, July 3, from 5 PM to 10 PM with a festive evening street party featuring vendors, food trucks, local craft brews, a beer garden, and live music on East Main Street. Red Clay Revival and The Empire Strikes Brass will bring the energy to the Main Stage as downtown comes alive with music, community, and patriotic spirit.
The celebration continues Saturday, July 4, from 10 AM to 9 PM with a full downtown street festival featuring craft, retail, food, and nonprofit vendors, plus family-friendly activities including mini golf, a foam party, and sprinklers throughout downtown.
The Transylvania Cruisers Classic Car Show returns from 10 AM to 3:30 PM.
At 11 AM, the Main Stage will host a community patriotic program featuring a flag-raising ceremony, reading of the Declaration of Independence, flyover, youth bike parade, and the announcement of the America 250 Patriotic Window Display winners.
The beer garden will be open from 12 PM to 9 PM.
From 6 PM to 8:30 PM, Whitewater Bluegrass Company will host a traditional old-time street dance in downtown Brevard, followed by a special fireworks show after dark.
This free community celebration is hosted by Heart of Brevard and is designed to bring residents and visitors together to celebrate community, small-town charm, and America’s 250th anniversary in one of North Carolina’s most beloved downtowns.
