    • MindPlus OurSchool is our one day a week programme where students come to one of our sites in Auckland or Christchurch for one day a week.
    • MindPlus Online is our half day a week programme where students connect for an online meeting and have activities to complete each week.

    The information you give here helps us to learn about your child’s particular abilities and qualities and helps us to make a decision about them attending MindPlus. It's really important that you give us full information about your child so that we can quickly understand their strengths and needs and, if accepted into MindPlus, place them in a class of like-minded peers.

    Tell us a little more about your child. Like you, we celebrate all of the different and wonderful strengths of your child. The more you tell us, the better we will be able to understand those strengths. For their learning, socialisation and health & safety of all our MindPlus students, it is essential that you give us full information. If you don’t provide full information we may not be able to progress this application, or if accepted to MindPlus, we may need to re-assess their application and attendance. If your child has difficulties with behaviour this may not necessarily affect their application, but we do need to know so that we can make an informed decision.

  • Costs and Scholarship

  • If/when your child is offered a place at MindPlus, you will need to agree to our Financial Terms and Conditions. Please have a read of these here: https://www.neurodiversity.org.nz/parent-guide-mindplusourschool

    2025 Fees

    $30 application fee - this is payable if/when you receive a place offer to attend MindPlus
    $50 annual donation - this is a voluntary annual donation payable when your child starts at MindPlus
    MindPlus OurSchool: $760 per term 
    MindPlus Online: $360 per term

  • Scholarships

    We have a small number of full and part scholarships available each year, with a strategic focus on increasing the number of children from under-represented groups. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you or your child must meet at least one of our criteria:

    • Your child identifies as a girl or gender diverse 
    • Your child identifies as Māori and/or Pasifika 
    • Your child attends a school in a lower socio-economic area  
    • AND/OR you can demonstrate that your child has significant potential that will be unable to be fulfilled without the support of MindPlus 

    We award scholarships in December to start the following year. Applications open in Term 4. This means that if you are joining MindPlus during the year, there will not be any scholarships available that year. You may, however, apply for a scholarship in Term 4 for the following year. You can only apply for a scholarship once you have a Place Offer.  For new students, we provide Scholarship Application Form details in Place Offers made during Term 4.  For existing students, we provide Scholarship Application details to families in Term 4. You will be advised before Christmas whether your child is being offered a full or part Scholarship for the following year.
