❄️ Ogden Arts After Dark: The Winter Series at Two Bit Bistro
Every 2nd Sunday, November through March

Ogden Arts After Dark is brought to you by OgdenCAN — a community network focused on uplifting East Central Ogden through creativity, connection, and care — Cultura & Craft, a local nonprofit celebrating cultural traditions and community arts — and the team behind the yART Sale, a grassroots artist market built on showing up and making space.

This winter series isn’t just about vending. It’s about connection, visibility, and showing what’s possible when artists take up space — especially in places that need a little more love from the community.

Together, we’re reimagining what it looks like when creativity, culture, and collaboration take over the night.

🕯️ After Dark, We Take Over Two Bit Bistro
This winter, we’re moving inside — taking over Two Bit Bistro, located in the historic Ben Lomond Hotel in downtown Ogden. The space has a built-in vibe: moody lighting, vintage charm, and room for art to breathe.

Each month, Two Bit Bistro will feature an exclusive menu crafted just for After Dark nights. We’ll fill the space with art vendors, an open arts gallery, and an open mic — transforming the bistro into a one-night creative hub where people come to connect, explore, and linger.

This is your chance to showcase your work in a fresh, intimate setting that celebrates local creativity in the heart of the city.

🖼️ Now Accepting Artist + Maker Applications
We’re currently accepting applications for art-based vendors only — no food vendors at this time.

If you’re ready to bring your work into a space that’s rich with history, community, and creative energy, we want you here.

We love spotlighting our vendors on Instagram and sharing the stories behind your work! Please write a short artist/business bio (2–4 sentences) that we can use for promotional posts. Feel free to include your name, what you make, your style, and anything special about your work. If you're stuck, think: "What would I want people to know about me before they come see my booth?" Example: "Hi, I'm River from Dust & Thread Studio. I create hand-dyed textiles inspired by Utah’s desert landscapes. Every piece is made with plant-based dyes and slow-crafted in small batches." 🎤 Open Mic

Our After Dark Open Mic is more than a stage — it’s a space for expression in all its forms. Music, poetry, spoken word, storytelling, performance art — if it’s creative and you’re brave enough to share it, it belongs here.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping up for the first time, the open mic is a place to connect, experiment, and be heard. Sets are typically 5–7 minutes, and sign-ups happen on site the night of the event.

We keep it casual but intentional — think cozy, attentive crowd, surrounded by art and good food, with energy that feels more like a salon than a show.

For questions or special requests, reach out to Cultura & Craft on Instagram at @cultura_craft.

This is your moment to share something that moves you — a lyric, a poem, a thought, or a story. After Dark is all about artists taking up space, in whatever way they need to.

🖼 Guerrilla Gallery The Guerrilla Gallery is our shared, open-air art wall inside Two Bit Bistro — a place to show up and show off. Easels and stands will be provided for artists to display one or two standout pieces. This space is not for sale, just for show — a rotating, collective exhibit meant to celebrate the creativity that fuels Ogden’s art scene. If you’re vending, consider bringing a piece to feature here — something that catches attention and draws people back to your booth. You’re welcome to include a small tag or sign inviting visitors to find you at your table or to spread the word and share your work with friends. It’s a chance to be part of something bigger than a booth — a collective moment where the art speaks for itself.

âś… Before You Submit: A Few Things to Know

We like to keep things honest, low-key, and upfront — here’s what you’re agreeing to when you join us:

    • All payments are final. Once you grab your spot, it’s yours. If something comes up, you’re welcome to transfer it to another artist — just let us know in advance. Reach out to us at @ogdenartsafterdark on IG
    • This is an indoor event. We’ll be cozy inside Two Bit Bistro, so no tents, canopies, or large displays that block visibility. Keep your setup simple and intentional.
    • Power access is not available. Bring battery lights or displays that don’t require electricity.
    • You’re responsible for your own setup and material equipment are provided — just your space and your creative energy.
    • No MLMs or resellers. This series highlights original, handmade, or small-batch creative work only.
    • Be flexible and kind. Spaces are tight, energy is shared, and part of the charm is how it all comes together.

We’re here to celebrate real art and real people — not perfection. It’s about community, connection, and showing what’s possible when artists take over a space that needs a little more love.
