High Hope Academy honors a CASHLESS Payment System. This allows for a more seamless payment processing system as well as for the safety and security of our Teachers and Parents.

CHILDCARE TUITION POLICIES/PROCEDURES

• Payment is due in ADVANCE on Friday for the upcoming week's care.
• Payment is considered past due at 5:30 p.m. Monday each week. If tuition is not paid in full by that time, a charge of $10.00 per day (including weekends) will be assessed to your account until all fees are paid in full.
• If late or missing payments become habitual, High Hope Academy will request a meeting with the parent/guardian responsible for delinquent payment to discuss a resolution. If an account continues to be delinquent after attempts to resolve missing payments Child Care services will be terminated.
• If your child is absent for any reason you are still responsible for the full Tuition fee as contracted. This includes sick days, parental days off from work, family vacation, etc. This is to lock in their space. Non payment will result in losing the space in the classroom. Our tuition rates are based on 9 hours of care, per the recommendation of DECAL.
• In the event a payment bounces due to insufficient funds, a $35 fee will be charged.
• An automatic raise in tuition will go into effect each September.
• Late Pick-up: Parents that are late picking-up will be charged $1.00 per minute. Ex: (10 min late $10) This fee is due upon pick-up via online app for collecting payments.
• Two weeks written notice is required for parents to terminate child care services. When notice of termination is given all outstanding bills must be paid, regardless of which party terminates services.
• Parent agrees to give two-week notice in writing prior to withdrawal of child(ren) from the center. If notice is not received by Administration, parent remains responsible for payment of normal weekly fees for two weeks as space has been reserved for their child(ren).
• High Hope Academy reserves the right to terminate this contract without notice for the following reasons: The child(ren)’s behavior is disruptive, uncontrollable, violent, threatening to the other children or providers at the care facility, etc. This determination is made in the sole discretion of the provider.
• Child Care Services will be suspended when Child care fees are two weeks or more delinquent. Payment in full is required to restart Child Care Services.
• High Hope Academy shall be entitled to change any of the terms in this contract, including but not limited to fees, by providing the parents/guardians with advance written notice of such changes.

CAPS SCHOLARSHIPS Participants

• CAPS certificates authorizations must be received BEFORE children can begin attending any HHA programs, unless the tuition is paid in advance by the parent. If CAPS reimburse for the days tuition was paid, The payment will be reimbursed to the Parent once CAPS authorizes payments for those days.
• Parents are responsible for submitting the necessary paperwork to Maximus in a timely manner to ensure authorizations are renewed before the current authorization expires.
• Parents/guardians will be charged for any days that a child attends after authorization has expired.
• PLEASE NOTE: CAPS will only pay for a limited number of absentee days. If these limited days are used and absentees continue excessively, parents will be notified and could result in the child being dropped from the program.
• CAPS will not cover additional expenses for enrolled children (field trips, late pick-up, etc.) Parents/guardians will be responsible for these costs.
• Parents/guardians will be charged for days that are not covered by CAPS if the child continues to attend the center
• Parents/guardians are required to notify CAPS and HHA of changes in employment and/or school enrollment status.
• No child will be guaranteed a spot in any HHA program without a current CAPS authorization agreement in place or advanced payment of the following week’s tuition
